During a special program for Boys Education, students at Longford Primary School (some girls included to balance it up
a bit!) brainstormed what Peace meant to them. It was decided that peace is something that can be world wide, community based,
school based, family based and especially a personal thing. The students decided that peace had to start with us as individuals
so a peace pole (totem!) with self portraits was designed and painted as a reminder to themselves to keep the peace,
stop bullying and a way to resolving conflicts.
